What is "price transparency"? Open a newspaper and see the stock tables...that's price transparency...knowing the price of your stock. Now you can get stock prices "real time" online. Surprisingly, bonds never had anything like this until MunicipalBonds.com pioneered fixed income price transparency by posting Municipal Bond trade and price data back in 2000. MunicipalBonds.com made it possible to see how your bond traded and the prices it traded at. You can now see if you were treated "fairly and reasonably." There are a few ways to look at Municipal Bond trade and price data:
1) Yesterday's Trades & Prices
Yesterday --and Previous Days-- State-by-State Muni Market Reports This allows you to view your State's Muni Market trades/prices similar to how you view stock tables in the newspaper. These daily Muni Market reports archive back to 1995. Did your Municipal Bond have a value yesterday? Access quote information just like you would in the newspaper. Prices & Information by State:
